So, You all know about the new job and all, but did you know that I was going to the beach the week after next week. Since I won't have accrued any vacation time for a while, I want to take a break while I have the chance. That means, for a week, I will be completely out of pocket. . . . . not entirely though. I have the handy dandy camera phone. Provided I have a signal (I've been to this particular beach a few times and always have had it before) I will be able to mobile blog you a post or two to make you all jealous of my beachy attitude.
This is just a test of that mobile blog. If the picture comes through, it's my daughter sitting on her Cousins motorcycle. She HAS to sit on one every time we stop by to visit and insists on wearing the helmet (safety first is my girl). She then holds the handle bars and shouts "Motee - Sikee. . . . booodun booodun. . . . . I ride Motee Sikee!" and then she starts to bounce on it like it was a horse bouncing her around. Cute as all the world.

The bikes are parked in the "shop" which is also known as a dilapidated, yet gigantic shed where the men folk go to get out of the women folks' way, burp, fart, smoke, drink lots of beer and occassionally repair some mechanical device; so that explains the tools and tool boxes and the old geezer in the background with the beer. Here's a motorcycle joke for you.
"What is the difference between a Harley Davidson and a Vacuum Cleaner. . . . . . .
the location of the dirtbag."

Foul Filth and filth and foul!!!!! The picture got lost in the shuffle. I will try and get it back for you. Lets see. . . . .
I want her to be my friend!
HOOOOOOOOOOW CUUUUUUUUUTE IS SHE!
She's gorgeous!! Look at her being all bad-ass on the motee-sikee!
She's cute, now... soon she'll have boys on the motorbike with her!
adorable - and just where she should be - wheeeeeeeeeeee
Ok Spiffy, simma down now. It's just technology, it's only as smart as it's user.
Welcome Jillacheti, or should I say, good to see you again. The two of you would be fast friends and probably get into more trouble than anyone could imagine, but you are both cute enough to get away with most of it.
Jill, SOOOOOOOOOOOOO CUUUUUUUUUUUUTE. . . . (to the rythm of how big is baby, sooooooooo big.
Oh yes Airam, not only does she know she's cute, but she knows she's a bad ass. She doesn't like my nephews sports bike, she likes my brother's Harley, or anyone's Harley truth be known. She is her Daddy's girl.
Chicky, that is the part that worries me. I was an idiot teenager with a motorcycle. No parent in there right mind should have let their daughter get on the back of my bike. Not that I wasn't a safe driver, but the inherent masculinity and danger associated with motorcycles sometimes makes young women lose thier minds, which was part of the reason I owned one. So, I am getting her used to them now, so when she is older she will be immune to the thrill. Heck, I might just get her her own little 883 on her sweet 16. That'd intimidate all the guys ;-)
I agree Meow, she should be immersed in all the different aspects of community and see all sides of the human condition. What better way to see and learn about the world than from the back of a motee sikee. She will learn to ride when she is a little older too. Solo, that is, on her own bike.
All, here is an example of why I am in trouble. Yesterday, we were playing in the pool we got her. The water is about 14 - 16 inches deep and there is enough room for an adult to sit in it with her and give her plenty of room to play. Ok, she was taking a deep breath, dunking herself under water and kicking off of the side of the pool to go skimming along the bottom. She would go about 4 feet under water and then pop up and get a breath and she would giggle and walk the rest of the way accross the pool on her hands, trailing her legs like she was swimming. Well, she is potty training and after a while she started saying "TeeTee, Teetee gin" (which means she has to go teetee again - it may have been 5 minutes or an hour that she went last). Anyway, we get out, dry off mostly and start heading for the potty. She was running and face planted onto the tile floor. Popped up and looked me right in the eye, teared up and then said "shake e off" (shake it off) and bit back a tear. She immediately had a big red bump on her forehead and when I asked her if it hurt she said "No", and then said, "I ok" and took off running and giggling shouting "Teetee gin teetee gin". She went teetee and five minutes later the bump was just a little red spot that had fades completely after about 20 minutes. She's smart, tough, fearless, athletic and beautiful. . . . I am not ready for this, the world may not be ready.
OMG she is soooooooooo adoreable! Guess she takes it after her mother huh ;)
Missed ya bro, and hope you have ton of fun at the beach.
cheers!
hahahahahaha!. . . .smirk. . . . . Truth be known Crashie, she and I could be brother and sister by our baby pictures. So far she has looked like 90% me and 10% my wife (that 10% is where the beautiful comes from) since she was born. She is not yet 2 years old and is just like I was at her age. . . . so much trouble ahead for me.
